Maybe it sound to be ridiculous, but for me, it is fact. From the bottom of my heart, I’m always want to make contribution in many kind of ways for a good purpose. Either contribute with my money, energy, time or idea, this desire always appear in my mind.
But the truth is, my effort to implement that desire faced a limitation. I am not a rich guys, I am just a young entrepreneur who receive simple income every month, living in village house at rural area. So, to contribute my money and time at charity, orphanage or poor people, that is far away of my capability.
Fortunately, Google Maps crate a new way, which is in my opinion, it is a creative, flexible and suitable for a person like me. I just contribute photo, video, review and answered simple question from Google Maps at anytime or anywhere I want, hope that all input data from me can be used and beneficial to all people. From my contribution on Google Maps, other people can manage their vacation or journey, find suitable restaurant to dine, knowing more about my place and many more.
Even many people around me said that I am just waste my time doing such things for Google Maps and did not receive any payment or rewards from Google, but in my mind always whispered me that I am doing it sincerely for a good purpose for human kind and let the rest I leave to God. I believe that if I do good to others, then I will receive the same thing, either soon or later. That is the main factor or caused why I want to be a Local Guide.
Now, many of my friends have opened their mind and agreed that what I had tell them before about being a Local Guides. More than that, several business’s owner was thanked to me because adding their business or shop in Google Maps. The impact is their business growing faster and receive more profits every month caused by people more easy to find their location and contact number.
From hobby, it become a passion for me to be a integrity and insightful of Local Guides. Even I am newbie as a Local Guides, but I am proud of my performance and achievement in Google Maps. I started as a Local Guides since the end of November 2018, and now I am almost reach Level 7.
I hope that I can be contribute more and more at Google Maps and help this world to be a better place. Now, information is at our fingertips. It depends on us to how to use information that we gained from surrounding.I hope this simple article can be explained that why I am be so passionate to be a Local Guide. A lot of thanks to Google Maps because appoint me to be a Local Guides. I wish to see more Local Guides generated by Google Maps especially from my hometown, Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia.
