Does clearing “web & app activity” of Google account reduce Contribution count too on Google maps?
Cleared web and app activity of my google account few days back & suddenly today i noticed, My total contribution & answer count under “Novice fact funder” drastically reduced on Google maps. Is it the reason ? or it is some sort of technical glitch

Yes, when you clear your web activity this will delete your answers. Currently you have only 43 out of the 250 needed answers to reach the next level.
Please visit this link and make sure that you have selected “Auto-delete (off)”.
Otherwise, you will keep losing points from answers given by you when they get deleted automatically by Google.
This should solve your problem in the future. Sorry, there is no way to recover the points you already lost.

Do you have the latest version of the Maps App @prsnt_paul ?
Thanks. What If i turn off "auto delete activity " but keep “web and app activity” PAUSED, will it case any issue to my future contribution? Will i receive questions for places after pausing web activity?
Yes i do. All of my apps including Google maps have the latest version installed on my device. Except clearing the web-app activity, i did nothing. And suddenly yesterday i noticed my contribution count got reduced

Kindly use the tagging tool “@” and the users name when replying to someone on the forum. That way they’ll know they are being addressed personally and also get a personal message on their profile. That will enable them to reply as well.
