I began to actively use the wide capabilities of Google Maps since I bought myself a Nexus mobile phone, where the chronology was turned on by default. Since then, it has become akin to hobbies: leave a snapshot, attach a photo, share emotions and experiences. Without the included chronology during travels, it is already difficult to imagine a trip (remembering the route and date of visits to a place becomes a matter of one minute).
Initially, I did not really understand the value of the reviews of the places visited. But now the first thing I will see what reviews people left in Google Maps than on various sites with reviews. Usually, if people go to special sites with reviews, they mostly complain. But with Google maps, the picture changes, because the application itself will remind you that you need to leave a review and all you need to do is agree and start writing. This makes more honest and helpful reviews.
This is why I always try to leave reviews. If each of us leaves a minimal line with the text after visiting a place (photo will be great), then we can all make the right choice when planning our time and increase the number of positive emotions
