The graphic shows how massive and widely utilized Google Maps is. I’m not sure how to grasp the distance of 20 billion kilometers. Because the equator is just 40.075 kilometers long, the amount is equivalent to circling the planet half a million times per day! This is massive!
We are part of something truly big!

I included a link to a video from where I got the information. The CEO of Google highlighted the 20 billion km in his talk. Then I used my calculator to divide 2 billion by 40.075 to reach 500 million revolutions! No magic and no special inside knowledge

Really amazing and massive!!
I am curious - how many local guides there are, how much listings exist in G maps, how much new listings are added each day, etc, etc…
This is not something Google shares with us. But sometimes bits of info gets shared.
The latest says we are 150 million local guides. Only a tiny fraction is signed up on Connect.
