Google Map Tip: Detecting a Speed Bump on Google Maps

Hello Everyone

Today I intend to share a very useful tip for google map users, which has helped me a lot and I am pretty sure it will be helpful for many other users.

As we do Road trip we often use google maps for directions. Imagine we are at a speed of 100+ km/hr and suddenly we encounter a speed bump on the road.

AHHH! β†’ What you do ? A Jerky break and lots of bump.

Now Using this tip you can predict a Speed Bump on Google Maps and slow down your speed accordingly.

TIP :-

As we all understand on Google maps

Blue Colour means - No Traffic

Yellow Means - Moderate Traffic

So when you are using google Navigation and driving at high speed ,

Do keep an eye on the future Yellow indication on maps, which will alert you that there is a Moderate Traffic Ahead.

This Yellow spot could be due to any reason. Accident , U Turn, Speed Bump etc. but definitely we can make out that we need to slow down our vehicle before we reach that spot.

So Guys plan your Gears accordingly by keeping an eye on yellow spots in between large Blue spots on Google Maps.

Happy Navigation

Note :- Although this is not official from google, but I have tested with a travel distance of 2000+ miles

and I can confidently say this tip works 99.99 %

Do try it & let me know.
