Google Map - Missing POI data

There are numourous places were mapped original POI data are missing as follows.

  1. Reviews are disppeared
  2. Photos are missing
  3. Unable to update
  4. Unable to add photo

Please suggest the way forward to update these POI.

It seems you are sharing with us links of temples and a public office.

Please note that, to prevent abuse, Google Maps can lock places or categories for edits in certain areas.

I do understand the problem and certainly agree that we should lock these kind of categories to avoid abuse.

I am just curious, and have few more question.

  • There are numourous such places e.g. https://goo.gl/maps/9CWJJBfZExgNUqVp8 . Is there any guideline to lock such places?
  • These locks were available back from Map maker period. But, it does’nt restrict user to add pictures and rating.
