Local guides from Mumbai, Sambhajinagar and Pune
had participated.
All these members visited ancient and religious places like Lal Mahal, Shaniwar wada, Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple, Nana Wada, Gramdaivat Shree Kasba Ganpati Mandir, Pataleshwar Caves Mahadev Temple in Pune
Visited historical places and exchanged information.
Anyone can and should act as a local guide
Self-taken photos can be uploaded to Google Maps. Also, the process of updating Google Maps through various ways such as correcting wrong information on the map, uploading information about new places, writing reviews about various places is going on all over the world.
Many industries like food supply, travel-tourism and online shopping are running on the basis of maps.
Therefore, these local guides are involved in keeping the maps service up to date. Being valuable

It was a pleasure spending quality time with enthusiastic local guides like you who traveled from far off for the meetup 
The news of the meetup in the newspaper was an icing on the cake.
And completely agree with what you said - since many people depend on correct information, contributing to Google Maps is very important

That’s a lovely recap… 
I missed the meet-up due to prior commitments but reading your recap I virtually enjoyed the historic tour. Yes, contributing to Google Maps is very important as there are many who rely on Maps for correct information and as Local Guides it is our dire duty to be Guardians of Google Maps

Well… your points are important well explained…
However, you stayed:

Yes, we should only post photos what we have captured -right… but, should completely avoid Selfie!
Even try to avoid PROMINENT HUMAN FACES on Google Maps.
of course, group photos are good for RECAP on LG Connect.
