There are certain areas where Local Guides are not currently able to add missing places. This may change in the future, as Google Maps is constantly evolving.

You can still help others by adding your valuable contributions to Google Maps, such as uploading photos, leaving reviews, answering questions, and more.

I’m moving your post to the How-tos topic section, where you can ask questions related to the program and share your feedback, just like @StephenAbraham mentioned. You can learn more about the Idea Exchange in the How do I use the Idea Exchange and what happens to my ideas? article.

Please keep in mind that from time to time your edits may not be applied as Google reserves the right to disable user generated contributions in certain locations to prevent abuse. This situation may change in the later versions of the app.

In the mean time, you can keep contributing your valuable reviews and photos on Google Maps and making the map more accessible to others.

I was able to add a missing place again just a few minutes after I left a message here. Thanks a lot.
