Google Map Feedback options

I’m from Thiruvananthapuram city in Kerala State, India. I use google maps whenever required, and have also contributed to the extent possible with respect to roads, locations, street names, various landmarks etc. However, while reviewing my address in the Google Map, I found that it contains a new line item that shows a different street name which is incorrectly mapped. Someone has created a landmark that’s more than a mile from my place and have created a map for that place to include my place also covered inside that landmark. Basically its an issue with the mapping that was used to represent that new place. I requested Google maps through the send feed back option multiple times regarding this mistake, but in vain.

Google Maps Send feedback does not have an option to correct or suggest correction to a wrong map of a place. I’m not referring to the position (placeholder). That could be correct, but the map drawn to represent that place if it is wrong there is no way to fix it.

I sure, many of us would have come across such mapping issues. How to report such errors? Do we have an alternate option? Thanks in advance for the help in solving this.

balaji
