I often travel to places that are inaccessible with my seaplane and I often consult Google Earth for destinations. Several people put useful images there to help land on lacs and rivers.
How can I add images of places that are not recognized places (like before with Panoramia)?
This was in the past permitted with Panoramio, but is no longer possible.
However, many places like islands, lakes, rivers, mountain peaks, are identified in Maps as Natural Features, and in there you can add photos and write reviews.
In addition, when you explore towns and villages, or even regions and countries, you will see in there a selection of photos posted in the Listing of the area
OUF ! it’s not really useful anymore. These images were invaluable for our expeditions to remote areas. I therefore notice the growing uselessness of Google Earth / Maps to plan this kind of flight
This can be an interesting option and you can share it with other people with an interest similar to yours.
I am running my own Project in Google Earth: Accessible Life - Public for Everyone , and i can tell you that with a well made project you can literally add thousands of places, with photos and a detailed description. Want to take a tour? https://bit.ly/2K0KCE9
I am glad that you’ve got useful information and great suggestion to explore Google Earth’s features.
