As the citizen of quasi-democratic country I have noticed how participating in Google LocalGuides formed my own ability to stand for civil rights or even for general honesty.
Of course all started with simple reviewing of sightseeing, attractions and later restaurants/cafe/events. As our community got bigger, many people started to assess reviews as something valuable. Afterwards the companies did the same. So currently my opinion/suggestion could be heard. Mostly when I feel support from others.
Anyhow, there were my first steps to fight for customer rights in case of poor service and bad quality. Further - more. The sequence habit to revise everything enabled me to reflect deeper about general civil injustices from government side and talk about that without fear. I was sure that I am in minor. Apparently I was wrong. Thus I started being civil and politically active, participating in meetings or societies, donate to projects/shelters/churches and finally volunteering. Exactly these features make society more healthy, effective and friendly.
