Google Local Guides Program

Google is a giant, whenever they create a new service, be sure it’ll be the best. We all see how Youtube is revolutionizing the video industry, the same goes for Gmail, google maps, blogger and all other Google’s platforms.

A very unique program by Google is the local guides program. It’s unique in its philosophy and rewards as well. Simply put, share your reviews and photos of places you visit, get noticed and rewarded for each piece of content you share, interesting, isn’t it?

What does the local guide program mean to me?

I have been on the local guides program for several years now, and it’s just an amazing experience. I’m always motivated to share new photos of restaurants, night clubs, historical places and all local attractions I visit.

It helped me a lot discovering places, deciding where to go and which dishes at which restaurants are worth trying.

Sharing is caring, right? As long as I find the information I needed posted by others, why not add value to this community?

The program is a great guide and companion for me, so I’ll do my best to be a good local guide too.
