Being a Google Local guide gives me a sense of power to express my views and opinion on a topic/place/item that interests me. With power comes responsibility. So I also realize that my responsibility lies in presenting an unbiased opinion. Though my reviewing started with my urge to let the world know about my unpleasant experience, right now my heart is filled with the feeling of contentment, when I articulate a positive review and let the world know how good a place is. The increasing count of “views” fills me with a sense of achievement of spreading happiness. Now this strength and capacity to make world a better place is undoubtedly impossible without our dear Google Local Guide opportunity. There is not a single type of place which I like to share on Google Local, but instead I make it a point to do my bit in the growth of all the places which I visit be it a small local pan shop or a five star restaurant. This is my way to give back to the society.
