We live a world where people is more and more connected every single day and Google Local Guides is a great example of that.
I discovered the program a few years ago, searching for good places to visit and for me, it was very shocking that real people post their comments and help others that need an advise. I felt so grateful and happy, that I decided that I want to write comments about the places that I visited, specially related to hospitality like: hotels, restaurants, coffee shops and tourist spots because is that is my BIG LOVE in life.
I worked in the hospitality industry for a few years and I really enjoyed helping our guest to decide where to go, what to visit, and when they came back it was great to ask… how was it? Sharing this information with other guest was great and very satisfying.
Due to personal reasons, I had to change my job and for a while it felt like something was missing until I became a Google Local Guide. This was my oportunity to get conected with people that share their experiences, get to know new and amazing places and of course share my experience.
Google Local Guides allowed me to conect again with my pasion in life and also motivated me to use all the amazing tools that we have now thanks to innovation and technology. I want to keep being part of this great comunity and continue learning and developing new skills, this is what Local Guides Program means to me
