Only 2 kilometers from where I live in Gurugram, a suburb of Delhi, is the Google India head office and I see this lovely glass building every day commuting to the office. I was not a local guide a year ago. Gmail on my Android device was the only product that I used from this company.
Coincidentally, the head of Google India operations is the amazing film star who lived only 200 meters from my home in Aurangabad for 25 years, and yet we never happened to cross each other.
Another iconic glass building in Gurugram is this DLF building in the shape of a Yacht Sail. This building exists for at least 20 years and I remember seeing this glass structure also when I worked here in 2003.
Here’s another close-up view of the building.
Another glass building near my office is this perfect cylindrical shape. The architect perhaps could not think of any other design and maybe every client demanded a clear view of the outdoor so this design satisfied all.
This is my office building where I work also has a nice glass facade and the view from my office is that of an ever-flowing Delhi-Jaipur Highway that is 12 lanes wide.
This building at a prominent location IFFCO Chowk square is semi-circular.
One side is flat and on the other side is a semi-circular glass facade and always amuses me.
My favorite glass structure in Gurugram is the Ambience Mall building. I spent a few minutes marveling at its eternal beauty every time I go there.
Finally here is the first glass tower in Gurugram which rightly belongs to DLF - Delhi LEasing and Finance company that finances all other captivating glass buildings in Gurugram.
I hope that one day I am able to visit the Google Headquarter building for some work or goodwill visit since the interiors as seen in Google Maps are quite interesting.
There are hundreds of glittering glass towers all over Gurugram and they never cease to amaze me.
