So most companies are happy to have their business reviewed and have photos taken. But since it is private property, permission is needed. And I can tell them I am a local guide Google reviewer, but people are creeped out or paranoid that I am casing the place looking for security cameras. If we could get some gear for Guides that identifies us, a T-Shirt or hat even might help? Maybe Guide’s level 6+ or 8+ ? Just a thought that might help a lot.

I was just thinking the exact same thing yesterday while I was out photographing businesses in a nearby city. I was thinking, perhaps we could get some type of official badge where business owners could confirm our identity with Google, or even just the creative for it that would allow each guide to print their own. I had trouble with the owner in a very casual restaurant where I was eating, a few months ago. Even though I showed them my Local Guide account, they still didn’t care, and asked me to leave immediately or stop taking photos.
