I need help with this, I’ve been trying to add businesses around my city, I’ve added photos to the edit and everything but keeps telling me that “Google couldn’t verify your edit” and when I click on it, it brings me to a weird location. Can someone help me on this?

The photos you’ve shared at unknown location (because your place adding edit is not approved) on Maps is, in my experience, always heading to weird location. It’s normal.

Weird place is GPS = 0, 0.
I guess it is not weird when you consider the photo has no place to belong to. Hence no/zero GPS coordinats.
If the new place is not approved after a few weeks I would recommend you delete such photos associated with Unknown place.
Or even better don’t upload more than one good photo when adding new places and only if prompted for a photo.
