I have been local guide for as long as I can remember .But a Google local guide for much less a time, probably 4 years.
My interest in being a Google local guide started when then need to update my community about the traffic situation on the main expressway became crucial. It was more of a communal effort. Residents of the community share traffic update via WhatsApp and other social media apps .
I rely mostly on Google for my traffic update, which I then share to the community. It’s been really beneficial and helpful as we lend not just a hand but an eye for each other.
Thanks to Google for being there .
