If I made a video on YouTube, I could earn at least as much money as the number of views. I might even be popular outside of money.

Todos, salvo rarísimas excepciones, estamos acá para brindar nuestros conocimientos, opiniones, calificaciones y un largo etcétera, para ayudar a los demás, es decir, en forma solidaria y de manera voluntaria, a tomar una decisión sobre un lugar, un restaurante, una playa o un parque y otro enorme etcétera. Nuestro mejor premio es haberlo hecho, no precisamos nada más.

Sorry @murataydinedu to hear about your disappointment. But there 150-200 million google map contributors and counting on around the world. They never said you will be rewarded with money or gift or anything for that matter. Everyone does it voluntarily. As Google map guides we help people around the world whom we don’t know who they are that is the beauty of it. Sorry you got discouraged.
