Have you ever gone in search of a place to eat? Search and search, read some reviews, look at the ratings. You hum and haw over the choices, then finally make a decision - as if this is a life-altering choice (if you know me, you know I live for food, so it might be life-altering lol).
You get the place and you are taken aback by the physical place - decor, atmosphere, size etc.
I always make a point of asking what is the place like? when someone recommends eats.
Ponder this: if you went to a restaurant and had amazing food but shitty service - would you go back? OR if you had a subpar meal but out of this world service/experience - would you go back?
Me - I would not go back to a place in the first scenario! I am all about the experience!!!

With that said, I love love love doing reviews & photos of the restaurants/eateries/hole in the wall places I visit to give other people the WHOLE picture of the place. Not just a blurry photo of my plate of food, the decor, the atmosphere, the experience. Was the music too loud, were the tables crowding each other, were the staff too friendly salesmen types or helpful friendly, etc etc. So if you see my reviews they are more than likely going to be pretty in-depth with photos and a bit of a “devil’s advocate” attitude with them. I won’t be recommending a crowded, noisy delicious restaurant for your romantic date night
