We are continuing our series of posts from our visit to Sarawak, the largest state in Malaysia, which is located on the island of Borneo. It was a great opportunity to be able to visit the Damai Beach area (https://goo.gl/maps/C7EXgptuePjLDDwY7 ), which is about 1 hour’s drive from Kuching the capital or Sarawak state.
The sunset along the beach is just mesmerizing as the sky turned to a shade of gold at the horizon and sapphire at the zenith.
[Photo below] - One of the best experience during a sunset is to have soft waves crashing onto your feet as you enjoy the most beautiful view.
[Photo below] - As the sun goes down, the beach is lit up with yellow incandescent light from old style lightbulbs.
[Photo below] - A walk through the coconut trees laden wooden chalets on Damai Beach. The sun just peeking through the roof as it sets.

This is one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen in a while. And with the gentle sound of waves, and the cool breeze, it was just mesmerizing.
Sarawak has to much to see and discover. Check out some of my recent posts during my visit to Kuching Sarawak below (work in progress)
