Golden Gate bridge in 360

This is an aerial 360 I took last may in SF.

It’s not perfect, the light was challenging, but I like the result.

What do you think? I think this is a very crowded 360 area, if you use pegman you will find a lot of 360 trails around!!!

Well @davidhyno the rules for NPS in San Francisco are really fastly changing… but I use an app that shows me actual protected airspaces, and there is a tiny area near the Golden Gate where actually you can fly. You can even make a fly by over alcatraz, as I tried, but I had to go back after 3 km for strong winds!

Read here for more info in the area: http://thedronegirl.com/2017/05/15/san-francisco-drone-legal-airmap/

Anyway I’ve registered my aircraft on FAA and I was read to face a fine, eventually…

@IlankovanT there is an app, that syncs my flights from DJI log to Airdata UAV website: https://airdata.com/

Here I can find and read many informations about my flight

Amazing! What drone/camera is that? I can’t seem to find one that shoots full 360.

Hi @eznoahn thanks!

Any drone can shot a 360, you only need enough photos! For this shot I’ve used a Mavic Pro and 34 shots.

Es impresionante @LucioV , una muy buena toma la que lograste felicitaciones, la luz es casi un detalle, ya que la toma en si es muy hermosa por la caída del sol.

Saludos Farid.

Cool! What software did you use to stitch all the shots together?

Thanks @eznoahn I used Kolor Autopano Pro for this shoot, but I didn’t made a perfect work!

Ok, good to know. It seems hard to find photo stitchers for spherical photos! Do you know of any other stitching software?

Sure, I also use PTGUI in some environments!

Thank you, that was the only other one I could find. Does it work as well as they advertise it?

Yes, but sometimes I use Autopano Pro/Giga because works better, especially on outdoors
