Going through the looking glass like Alice! This is what the LOCAL GUIDE program means to me.

For many years I used Google Maps to get information about the places I was visiting or those I was preparing to discover. I looked at the pictures and was inspired by the reviews to make my choices. Then one day, when I discovered a friend’s wonderful restaurant in Miami (the “C Si Bon”) and wanted to share this place full of delights with the world, I thought, "But how do we let everyone know how delicious it is ? ». And the answer came to me simply : I just had to move to the other side of the screen, to become the one who writes and not just the one who reads. That was two years ago! And since then, I’ve been like Alice and I regularly go through the mirror. Google remains my Cheshire Cat who gives me the information I need and I contribute in return to share the pearls of the Wonderland I’m crossing.

Because I’m a very lucky girl who travels a lot. My activities as a trainer and facilitator of luck give me the opportunity to travel the four corners of France and a large part of the world. Also, what an excitement to find a place that I can share and where I can guide other globetrotters or locals. And what a joy to find wonderful little addresses the minute I need them and let myself be leded there. The other local guides are my white rabbits. They run in front of me and I follow their tracks. And I, like Alice who tastes the mushrooms, I point out what makes grow and what makes shrink. I mean… I still have to get better! I confess I tend to only share what I think is great. But, thanks to the other local guides, I realize that it is also important to know if a place is average or mediocre. It helps a lot to choose among the many possibilities that are often offered. It’s really something I’ve learned through the program: you have to know how to tell what’s right and what’s wrong. There is no need to become a Queen of Hearts who cuts off heads
