Goa is known for its sun, sand and sea. People come here from all parts of the world be it for the beaches, the colonial architecture, vibrant nightlife or cheap alcohol.
Day 1
We started a day 1 a little late as were tired due to traveling so we decided to just chill by the Baga Beach as it was very near to our hotel. Baga is one of the most popular beaches in North Goa lines with an array of tattoo parlour’s, Sun decks and legendary shacks it gives you a chance to live out your perfect beach holiday. Baga also has a vast range of water sports that you can try out.
Relax by the beach all day and in the night let the party animal in you come alive. Tito’s is the perfect destination if you wish to witness the vibrant night life of Goa.
Day 2
We started our day 2 by visiting Parra. This is the spot where the movie Dear Zindagi was shot.
Next in line is the Chopara Fort popularly know as the Dil Chahal Hai fort. The fort is located on top of a hill with slopes on all side and though it is almost in ruins now it doesn’t top the visitors from standing where the Bollywood stars once did. This ancient fort in North Goa offers splendid view of the adjoining Vagator beach and overlooks the Arabian Sea from all angles.
Next we decided to stop by the Sinquerim Beach to witness the beautiful sunset. Compared to the other popular beaches I. Goa this beach is more peaceful and less crowded.
Day 3
On the third and the last day of our stay in Goa we decided to travel all the way from Mapusa to Panjim to visit the Immaculate Conception Church. It is one of the oldest chapels located in Panjim the capital of Goa. The distinctive architecture of the Church includes a series of criss cross steps leading you to the prayer hall while lines of thin and tall palm trees form part of the scene. Climb all the way to the top to get a beautiful view.
Saving the best for the last we visited Antares one of the most picturesque restaurant located near the Vagator Beach.
We left Goa with lots of beautiful memories. It was my first trip to Goa and indeed a beautiful one.
