I am planning my vacation in Goa and require to travel at night from North Goa (Candolim) to South (Varca). Can someone please suggest if it is safe to travel at that time and also the options available. Is there an App I can use for that? How good is GoaMiles?

But, many states ask for an RT PCR test within two to three days before entry. You have to check that on the specific States website.
Second, I consider night travel by road during a recreation trip is suitable only for emergencies and hence can’t comment on your strategy.
Third, I find Google Maps vastly superior for any road trip when I use my vehicle.
However, I guess you are planning to hire a taxi. In that case, you have to study the app in-depth, by going through each review on Google Play.
Goa Miles is good if you are on Panjim or Candolim’s side, but it’s not at all reliable. I will suggest renting a bike or car for the days you are here. There is no public transport at night, but very safe where ever you travel.

There wasn’t any inquiry for Covid testing at the airport or hotels, however, it was great to see measures of social distancing and symptom screening being followed everywhere.
Even GoaMiles turned out to be completely reliable (even at night) and really helpful. I booked a scooter for my day travelling and hired cabs (Airport to North Goa, North Goa to South Goa and finally, South Goa to Airport) with this app whenever I had my luggage along. My stay was great and absolutely safe. Enjoyed a lot. Cheers.
