The iconic Eiffel tower, built in 1889 known as the tallest monument ever built at that time.
You definetely need to visit once in your life, take some pictures from above where you can see the champ de mars, where you could have picnic later on its grass if weather condition allows it.
During the evening if you have deep pocket and some luck you might be able to book a diner reservation at the restaurant Jules Verne located at the top of the tower.
At night you can observe the light at the top 2 light beams rotating and during 5 minutes each hour after sunset you can see it shining for 5 min until midnight (which means last shining session is from 11 PM to 11:05 PM)
In order to reach the location the best metro station will be [Champ de mars-tour Eiffel](https://goo.gl/maps/j6GSZFCLgviQHC8z5)which is not a metro but RER station (line C).
By metro you can alternatively opt out for the Birk Hakem station which is located on line 6 and pretty close as well.
