Hello fellows celiac (or with gluten intolerance ? ).
I live in the surroundings of Porto and our food is lovely good!
Being a celiac here is not so easy though.
Typical food has gluten everywhere but lately we saw some places opening where we can safely eat (almost) everything.
So, I have a public list on Maps that I keep updated. You can see there some restaurants, beer stores and pastries that have gluten free items in the menu.
I would like to highlight one of them because it’s the only place where you can safely eat a gluten free “francesinha”. This is a very typical dish in Porto and I totally recommend to everyone visiting!
