As a local guide we helped many people without any fee. This looks good sometimes but we also need some benefits like payment, coupon, in other ways.
But @Anonymoususer1 map owner benefited by us also they earn money from us without paying us. This is not fair Enough you should think about it
“we are not helping people we helping you to improve your map and your business.”
If Our community of local guide be united and ask for this benefit then we get some response from @GooglemapCeo.

If google help us we also help and may be we should do more better for map by which it would be a "more efficient, more accurate, more reliable, more useful map in the world". I hope my my voice reach to the top of the google map.
Thank you for your comments, I totally understand where you coming from. But, isn’t it supposed to be a ‘volunteer work’ ?
LocalGuides program by its definition, policies, and inception means volunteer work to build, improve, and help billions of people across the globe. Our community of millions of amazing people take on these challenges because they believe in the platform, and more importantly, in public service. In my opinion we cannot weigh or measure any form of service, especially not with any financial benefits or perks.
On a side note, the best give away is the community acceptance, social belonging and the bond that all of us share. On top of that, the recent episode of Guiding Stars is a living example how our fellow local guides went above and beyond to help the community, and they were cherished by millions and recognized by Google. If you stick long enough, you will realize that LocalGuides is the ONLY community in the world that contributes such volume of good work and every single member is extremely proud and happy of its volunteer nature.
I am sure that you will continue with your great contributions and who knows, our community will be cheering for you in next episode of Guiding stars.
You don’t give us money or perks but we should get recognition as well as facilities like the N.G.O. volunteers should get because you have called us volunteers.
The way you can give silver button, hoodie, selfie stick, etc. to members of your other applications like youtube, then why can’t we also get these things. You don’t give us silver buttons, at least give small things out of these. So that volunteers like us can get recognition and motivation to do hard work for you.
But Honestly I think that adding selfies, a lot of duplicate photos, contents stolen from the web, and a huge redundancy of similar photo is definitely NOT a way to help people, nor to help Google Maps.
This is only a fast track to be suspended from the program, for adding waste in Google Maps.
Google is recognizing the good contributions in several way, but you should deeply review your contents if you want to be recognized
If you are sitting on top of google map office than “what are you doing” You are not sitting there to get free salary .
If you are and your top one’s delet the videos and many content on YouTube then why are you not do same. If you know this is duplicate-similar photo, content stolen etc then why are you not delete it. And how you know that we are not doing and contributing deeply.
In today’s world no one is doing free job and we are doing it for you and your are demotivating us.
Not all people have to much time and money to go hotel, restaurant, mall etc to pay and write a review for free.
The world is fighting with unemployment here and you want to eat free laddoos?
we are not asking for money we just want small thing like bag, hoodie etc to show this and we proudly say that this is given by @googlemap and other new members can join this.
And this is not a good way to treat us. If you can’t motivate and can’t do good don’t do bad either. Respectfully
I am just a Local Guide like you, volunteering contributing in Google Maps.
Google do not ask us to go to hotel and restaurant for writing reviews. Google is inviting us to volunteering contribute in places of which we have experience. We do this because we also are helped by the information added by others, using a free App that we can use for navigation end for exploring the places around us.
Many Local Guides are recognized for “What they do”, but it is quite funny to say “I am doing bad, but if you give me a prize I can do better”
And No, I cannot delete your contributions (as I said I am Just a Local Guide like you). You should be aware by yourself of what you are doing, because joining the program you confirmed the acceptance of the rules.
What I would love to hear is an answer “as a Google Maps User”:
Do you find helpful to upload the same photos 2 - 3 or even 4 times
I am telling you this because what you are doing is not only a damage for Google Maps, it is also Against the rules.
What I am doing here is trying to help you not to be suspended. My tip for you is to read the Maps user-generated content policy and in particular these parts: “*…*contributions must be based on real experiences and information. Deliberately fake content, copied or stolen photos … and unnecessary or incorrect content are all in violation of our policy” and also “We may also delete or suspend Google Accounts that violate our policies”

Because these two place are same places means Pragati maidan is government park near Supreme Court in which Hall no-7 and other Halls are located that’s why i uploaded same photo. I agreed that but read my review carefully and see the place. And Google divided it into two parts that’s not my fault.

Many local guide asking same thing nobody is telling that i get something from Google. Why?

We are correcting, editing, showing places, shops, street etc which helps #Google customer like Ola, Uber, delivering parteners Amazon, ebay etc. Who pays in thousands and million per year.
We are not demanding big thing we only demanding small things like bags, t-shirts, hoodie etc Whose value is nothing in front of this money. Provide the things with there name tag and these things also promoting there company Google map.
