Hello friends,
If talking about Pho, people normally think about Vietnam. However, do you know that Vietnam also has many versions of Pho?
Today, I would like to share about Gia Lai dried Pho which called exactly “Phở khô Gia Lai” in Vietnamese if you want to search more about it.
This dish is from central area - Gia Lai province where is one of the largest province in Vietnam.
- Ingredients: rice noodles, rare beef and beef-ball soup, vegetables, slices of lemon, chili;
- How to serve: 2 bowls, 1 dried noodles with toppings (minced pork and crispy shallots…), 1 beef soup (from broth of pork bones, minced scallion…).
And finally, to enjoy in the best way, I believe that we should combine, eating 1 noodle together with 1 soup then…^^

Hi @Kian1510 never tried Pho before but after reading this definitely want to try some. Will see if i can find an authentic vietnamese restaurant and try Pho for sure. The Pho looks very delicious and comfort food. Thanks for sharing.

I miss the Pho I had in US sold by a Vietnamese lady @Kian1510 it tastes so good.

That sounds cool @Kian1510 where do you live in VN, is it Saigon or the North? I come to like Pho when the weather is cool and hot Pho is just so right for such weather! Had this in our Saigon Trip back in 2019.

Wow, your Pho was traditional Pho with soup and noodles together. It would be very great in the cool weather to enjoy!
I am living in HCMC in the South @Sophia_Cambodia . The Gia Lai-style Pho is different with the special dried noodles in 1 bowl along with another soup bowl.
Hope you have new chance to enjoy Pho again in near future!
I enjoyed it many times while in US @Kian1510 and with the cold weather, it is perfect but the bowl in US is super bowl. I can’t finish one bowl by myself, too big!
Nah, the one I had and shown you was in Ho Chi Minh. I have not been to the north yet. Maybe in the future, I will go to that part of VN.
