So glad to be here. I love posting things about events, places or activities that really represent local culture, something that’s off the beaten track and can’t be found in guide books. Especially when the atmosphere or “buzz” is unique and people can come away feeling like they’ve found a ‘hidden gem’ unique to the city. This could be a cafe, a shared work-space, a bar or club, or even a shop, and I take into account the staff, the clientele, the decor and even the music and lighting!
