Getting outside your comfort zone

One of the most interesting things that i have done as a local guide is boost the marketing of the local small restaurants/businesses by commenting on their food and even their customer service no matter what the circumstances. I would get into the most awkward positions to take the perfect picture of the food or even go into a different place/corner within the store just because the lighting is perfect and maybe even annoy a few customers in the process, but i realized that this is what i love to do and moreover the fact that it is benefiting these restaurants/businesses, it was more meaningful to me. It started of as one single post then before i even knew it, i was posting and taking pictures of almost every place/restaurant i visited and taking such “awkward” position pictures became a habit and natural to me . I pushed myself the first time , knowing it could bring a positive impact and it helped me make it a lifelong hobby. This also led me to try new dishes and even visit underrated places just so i could experience it myself and it gave me a whole new perspective of looking at things and even explore my own taste buds beyond the usual taste i was used to.
