People think that because Frankfurt is a financial center it doesn’t have it’s charms. I invite you to take a look at some pictures from this amazing city.
Frankfurt looks cool @JulieKrp can you tell us something about its history and what are your favourite places to visit?
What kinds of foods should a tourist try when visiting that are uniquely Frankfurt?
Paul
Hi Paul, thanks for asking:
I moved to Frankfurt in September 219, but if been here before in 2016 for 5 days, but after living here I can recommend:
-
Tasting Eis Christina´s - Icecream house, with a lot of options, Zeit für Brot, its a Bakery with a lot of good things and a local restaurant called Adolf Wagner, that serves typical Frankfurter food.
-
About the favourite places I can list: Römerberg: Frankfurt’s Old Town Center, The Städel Museum, Senckenberg Natural History Museum, Frankfurt Cathedral, Kleinmarkthalle, the Bridge with the lockers over the Main and a good 50 min boat tour that you can catch just near the breach. Also its very nice to ride a bike or a scooter around the city, its very pleasant during the months of May, Jun, July, Ago.
Hope this helps
That’s a very nice standard recommendation for every tourist. Paul: Frankfurt people keep their own best places secret ;).
