I am Viswanathan Ganesan a Traveller, Photographer, Film Maker and most importantly a local guide out of passion.
I am not a techie… Yet the evolution of Internet clubbed with Google and smart phone made my travel and life a lot more easier and interesting which turned me into a Local Guide without even realizing that I am becoming one at the age of 53. The first time when I reached a remote destination through Google maps without seeking for any human assistance was the day I understood that LOCAL GUIDES are a NEW IMPERATIVE in a world of assistance. From wherever and whatever one seeks for, information must come handy. Therefore I answer quick questions asked in maps, rate and review anything from a roadside tea shop that serves hot ginger tea to a hospital that is unrealistically expensive. I also understand that my opinion as a local guide does matter to everyone without geographical boundaries from ignorant to informed categories of people. Therefore, I make it a point that what I opine as a LOCAL GUIDE is bias free and only based on my personal visit and experience. India marches ahead with DIGITAL FIRST approach and I guide local businesses be visible online and capitalize on the ever increasing micro moments. India is a destination the whole world wishes to explore for endless reasons. Keeping this in view, improving India’s presence on the digital landscapes is of paramount importance.
