Get my street recognized on the map

I have lived on Summit Cove for over 2 years and Google Maps refuses to recognize the street and auto re-spells the entry as Summit Avenue. Very very very frustrated after many folks lost trying to find us.

Sorry to read that your edit for correcting the street name is seeing repeat rejections @BACJH

However, to understand the edit approval process, I suggest going through this help desk article.

https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/Help-Desk/Why-is-my-edit-status-Pending-or-Not-Applied/ba-p/1079069

Further, it’s not correct to suggest repeat edits once the first one stands rejected. That may amount to spamming.

Nevertheless, there are some more ways to achieve the desired changes.

  1. Mention the issue in the community pages of Maps help & support forum. The link is here.

https://support.google.com/maps

  1. Another way is to route the requirement through the content partners.
    https://maps.google.com/help/maps/mapcontent/?authuser=0/

You can request your local authority to submit the update though this channel.

There is only one shortcoming in these alternatives. You would not be getting any credit in points. However, your actions will ensure that the Maps is up to date.
