Get Desserted | Jalebi with Mango Rabdi

Jalebi is an Indian dessert. It is famous all over South Asia and the Middle East.

It is generally served hot. It may also be eaten with cold Rabdi or hot milk. For Indians, having hot Jalebi along with hot samosas on a rainy day is a must!

Ingredients-

Jalebi: Maida (All purpose flour), Baking Soda, Sugar, Salt, and Oil.

Sugar Syrup: Sugar, Water, Cardamom, and Orange colour.

  • Mix sliced mango cubes to it.

Sugar Syrup

  • Heat a pan. Add sugar and water to make a syrup of runny consistency.

  • Boil on a medium heat.

  • Add colour and cardamom powder. Remove from heat.

Jalebi

  • Mix all-purpose flour, baking soda, sugar, and salt to create a mixture.

  • Add water to make a batter of thick consistency.

  • Heat oil in a pan. Pour the batter from the bottle in a circular motion.

  • Fry the jalebi from both sides.

  • Dip the jalebi in sugar syrup for 1-2 minutes. The syrup must be warm.
