Gemba (Gymba) (height 1491 m) is one of the highest mountains of the Polonina Borzhava massif, located in the southwestern part of the massif within the Transcarpathian region. Here one of the most famous waterfalls in Ukraine, Shipit (Shypot) is situated.
Gemba is a tourist destination. It has 8 ski lifts. The second highest ski resort in Ukraine after the resort Dragobrat and has the longest Ukrainian ski slope, about 3.5 km.
I’m not a ski lover, so we visited Carpathians in the summer, when the nature is in full blossom.
Thanks a lot for showing us the beauty of Ukrainian Carpathians and for sharing information about the lifts. As far as I can see on Google Maps the Waterfall “Shypit” (Водоспад “Шипіт”) is located in Gemba Mount and it looks amazing! I’ve just noticed you shared a post about the waterfall.
@OlgaKlimchik The place seems like the place for me. I can feel calm and peaceful just looking at your beautiful photos of this place. Thank you for sharing this post with us.
@Austinelewex This place looks serene and beautiful. Kinda place one goes to for a vacation to relax and commune with nature. It looks like what we have at the Obudu Ranch.
@OlgaKlimchik this place looks really nice. Thanks for sharing
