Last summer I was on the Italian island of Favignana, on the west of the main Sicilian island. I tried the local specialty, gelato con brioche. Has anyone else tried it before? Sweet and delicious!

Thanks for sharing this nice experience you had in Favignana! I know that the concept of an ice-cream sandwich might seem strange but this is very normal in Sicily! 
I was there in June to visit my family and I enjoyed a wonderful brioche in Catania. You can see it here.
