Thank you, @TravellerG sir, for starting this wonderful challenge. And my sincere apologies for the late participation.
International Plant Appreciation Day is an excellent opportunity to recognize the incredible flora that surrounds us.
I lived in Mumbai’s densely populated locality until my mid-20s, and I had to travel a long way to see the plantation or even greenery, unless I went to a nearby garden.
After moving to Pune, I was able to live in a developed area surrounded by greenery. The sounds of different birds, the fresh air, and the soothing and serene feelings captivated me. The desire for greenery was there, but it has now become an essential part of my life.
We have our own mini garden on our balcony, which includes button roses, lilies, and tulsi.
Since becoming a local guide, I’ve gained awareness about the necessity of the variety of plants in our lives.
On World Environment Day last year, we planted a sapling, taking a small step toward a greener future. We intend to return and check it shortly. It was @TusharSuradkar hosted meet-up, and our @NERKARAMIT @bhayani_naitik @Madankumarj were present.
I’ve always been fascinated by the role that plants play in our ecosystem, purifying the air, providing food, and supporting a variety of species. This challenge motivates me to look closer and appreciate the intricate beauty of each leaf, flower, and root.
We also had visited gardens to host the meet-ups in Pune.
One was at Pune Okayama Friendship Garden, early last year, Jan 2024. @Ketan_Kangankar hosted that meet-up, and many enthusiastic local guides were met there.
This is my photo with the maximum views.
During our visit to Delhi, we also visited Lodhi Garden to see monuments and the beautiful butterfly garden and bonsai plant garden.
Let us all take a moment to recognize the unseen wonders that enrich our lives!
I hope this suffices for your requirement for the challenge.
Cheers!
