Gandhi Museum - Safe, Accessible and kids friendly place to visit

Inspired from other local guides in our community I want to share about this wonderful museum called Gandhi museum it is located on my way to work, I have been here many times this time I wanted to check if things have changed post COVID-19 and how they are following safety measures.


They had a sanitizer at the gate, the security checks the temperature before going inside.
The museum has covered the entire life history of Mahatma Gandhi. From his birth to death every important moment has been displayed in the form of video, art and photos and also Laser 3d Projection Mapping show,


The place is not just about Gandhiji but has has many other technology used for everyone.
They also have games for children which are informative.
It is divided into 39 rooms where they have a guides to help throughout.
The place is fully accessible, they also have wheelchair and lift and special entry gate for wheelchair.

The timing is 10:00AM to 7:00 PM
The laser show is conducted from 7:00PM to 7:20 PM
The entry fees is INR 25 For Adults and INR 10 for kids, for Foreigners it is INR 400.

After reading your post I can imagine that this is really great place to visit with kids.

Is there any change in timing due to increasing cases of Covid at present in Rajkot?

Awesome post, I saw your photo beautiful,album , Rowlatt Act, reminded me history chapter, Gandhiji satyagrah, Salt act… All chapter we study.

39 rooms are the rooms big or small each floor how many room are there, all rooms are occupied with Gandhi ji things.
