The entrance point of the Minar.If any one will want to travel here there is easy communication from Sambalpur,Odisha by bus to the place.There is also fare car always available from Sambalpur.The place is 14 km away from the main city of Sambalpur.

The Demo structure of HIRAKUD DAM.

Here the beautiful surroundings with very natural beauty of the area attracts the attention of the tourist.on the entrance point to the minar there is a very beautiful garden to spend few memorable hours of the day.Lakhs of visitors came to the place to enjoy picnic from November to March.

One of the another interesting things that every one enjoy is its side seeing beauty while travel towards and upwards on vehicles to the place.

Themain road to the minar built by cutting the mountain.Last one thing I want to mentioned is that this is a very safest place and there is always police protection here.Some area of the places are restricted for photography.

Hello @GNaz thanks a lot for your preference about the place.This place is famous for world longest Hirakud Dam side.There is also another tower at left deck of the Dam as Neheru Minar.The both tower meant for enjoy the very natural beauty of Hirakud water reservoirs.There is also rope way ride from the beginning point of the Minar garden area to the Minar.

One of the greatest thing here one can enjoys is Power House in the left deck area of the Dam.Only with proper permission from the DAM authority one can entered to the place.Several others great places is here to spend the memorable hours.
