Gama Tower - from start to finsh

I was going through my google photo album and noticed that I have collected hundreds of photos of several buildings being built around our office in Jakarta. Each week, while waiting for the elevator or taking a break, I would look outside and notice the progress. And take a photo!

Once the building construction gets above the ground, it picks up the speed and the frame keeps rising at a speed of about one floor a week. Once topped off, things take a while when the façade glass and interval work is done.

Here is an animation of the Gama Tower (tallest building in Indonesia) I created from my photo collection. These photos were taken starting with just a hole in the ground back in January 2011 to its completion in 2016.

Hope you like it.
