Gaimukh- a Hidden Gem in Thane

I have been living in Thane for the past 15 years. I love traveling and discovering places around me. One of my hunts led me to this beautiful place located between Thane and Borivali called “Gaimukh”. I have known several people who stay in Thane but are not aware of this place. It is about 15 kms away from Thane station. There are various buses that halt at Gaimukh. Gaimukh has a Jagannath Mahavir Temple which is right opposite the creek. There are various small food stalls which makes this place a perfect evening getaway for anyone who enjoys cool, breezy evenings. I visit this place for its serenity and beauty and I recommend this for a quick refreshing evening.
