Ist es ok, wenn ich das in der Sprache Deutsch mache, oder soll ich in Zukunft in Englisch schreiben?
Daher jetzt erst mal ganz kurz zu EINEM meiner VIELEN Probleme, weil dieses hier sogar gefährlich für anderer Maps Nutzer werden kann:
Ich schon seit September mehrere Versuch unternommen, ein nicht existierendes Krankenhaus von Google Maps zu entfernen. Meine Änderungsvorschlag als Local Guide bleibt aber nur ewig stehen und wird nicht angenommen.

German is fine, I just use a translation tool to read your posts.
How did you suggest the fake hospital Donauinsel be removed? I find the spam reason a bit more powerful than the Does not exist here option. I tried to remove it also, but it went pending.
If it is not gone in a few days, I would seek help on this in the Maps support forum.
Hit the Community tab at the top and make a post.

PS: I forgot to mention that hospitals and pharmacies have been very hard to edit since the start of the pandemic.

Ich habe natürlich schon vorher gesucht in den verschiedenen Kategorien. Was ich gefunden habe, deutet halt darauf hin, dass es die Macht “der Vielen” oder der “Vertrauenswürdigen” ist, Änderungen tatsächlich durchzubekommen.
Unter welcher Kategorie soll ich am Besten meine nachfolgenden Fragen zu meinen sonstigen “frustrierenden” Erlebnissen zu Änderungen von Orten (Positionsverschiebung, Orts-Name, Kategorie) und abgelehnten Neumeldungen von Orten posten?
Zum Fake-Krankenhaus:
Hier hab ich schon einiges Versucht, auch schon zwei Freunde gebeten, das als Local Guide zu melden.
Das einzige was mir da noch als Local-Guide einfällt, ist der Schriftzug ganz unten “rechtliches Problem melden”. Aber da würde es dann echt kompliziert für mich. Ich bin ja kein Jurist, um die entsprechenden Paragraphen im Zusammenhang von “Gemeingefährdung der Öffentlichkeit durch irreführende Notadressen” für das österreichische Recht herauszufinden.
Wie von Ihnen vorgeschlagen, warte jetzt noch mal ein paar Tage und werde dann den Google Support zu Maps kontaktieren.
It would be beneficial if you would use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply.
When you need specific help on a concrete issue then How-to is the relevant section.
General rants are not likely to be heard. It is a delicate balance to fend off spammers and at the same time accept all genuine suggestions. A good trust score is no match for the protection given to hospitals and pharmacies - I know this from experience.
But if you have concrete suggestions on how to make things better, then the Idea Exchange is the relevant section.
I’ve tried myself to remove a Fire Hydrant categorised as an Hospital, but there is no way.
In the last years Maps increased the “protection” of listings in some socially important categories, and for this reason with an high possibility of being targeted by spammers, like Banks, ATMs, Hospitals, Places of worship.
Right now it is almost impossible to edit such categories, so the only possibly is to submit the issue to the Google Maps support community. In this way, even if it takes time, the issue will be analysed by an engineer, a possibility fixed.
Hallo @RH_from_Vienna ich vermute es ist aus Versehen angelegt von einem Local Guide und ein Krankenhaus in die Nähe war gemeint (z.B. Klinik Donaustadt). Wie schon gesagt von @MortenCopenhagen und @ErmesT : Änderungen bei alles was mit Gesundheit zu tun hat, sind fast nicht möglich seit Corona, aber meine Erfahrung ist dass das Verschieben vom “Map Marker” doch manchmal automatisch genehmigt wird, also hab ich nun versucht es zu verschieben zur Stelle wo sich Klinik Donaustadt befindet. Damit wäre das Problem noch nicht gelöst, die Lage aber schon besser.
Danke für Eure Bemühungen. Ich warte noch ein paar Tage, dann werde ich den Google Support anschreiben. Gut zu wissen, dass der Pin mit dem Namen “Donauinsel” möglicherweise hin zum Donauspital wandert. So finde ich den auch wieder.
I wonder @MortenCopenhagen if we could / should interpret this as an indication that teaming up with other local guides to submit an difficult edit from multiple accounts increases the chances of getting it improved?
All those edits (especially when submitted around the same time) are bound to show up in the list of edits to be checked by the same Google employee…
Well, it proves (for the first time to me) the policy change to award points to not only the first who suggests a change. That is a good thing.
I think we need to organize a well structured test to really prove if pooling edits is helpful or what we see is just random.
I’m considering to organize a parallel test to see if flagging misplaced and low quality photos has any effect and if coordinated flagging has any added benefits.
Meine Vermutung dazu ist, dass tatsächlich jeder die Punkte bekommt, wenn parallel vorgenommene Änderungen angenommen werden.
Ich hab im Oktober bei knapp 100 ACTION Filialen in Europa den Namen richtig gestellt. Manche davon sind noch immer in der Begutachtung. Wenn doch mal wieder eine Filiale durchkommt, dann bekomme ich auch die Benachrichtigung. Sogar dann, wenn es ein anderer Name, als von mir vorgeschlagen, wird.
Wobei mir persönlich sind die paar Punkte auch egal, Hauptsache die Einträge auf Maps haben eine höhere Qualität.
