Why I enjoy contributing as a local guide is pretty simple! I love to save while on the road and hope to help others be able to also! Even though I do also travel alone often, my favorite travel is with my 2 daughters! One is 9 and the other is 13 so location and neighborhood is a big factor in keeping us comfortable and safe while in new cities! I love being able to review and share my experiences with others in hopes they will also appreciate knowing a parents perspective. Location, amenities and food options to keep the kids entertained and fed while traveling. Rooms with kitchens and local markets for those longer stays and great breakfasts that are included in the rooms you stay! I love being able to save money while creating memories! So I try to add these tips in to my reviews for other to appreciate. Stay-cations are a major budget saver and as fun as many of our other further distances we’ve traveled to. I love yo travel locally and give tips and hints on great places/deals! All in all I feel as though it’s a small way of giving back to my community by informing them of ways to enjoy and save in the places they live!
