From today It's not possible write post in HTML

Hello Guides,

have You seen that it’s not possible to write post with HTML language? I wrote my posts as Trip in Sicily with this language because more simple to transfer photos for Google Photos shared album without use memory fo LGC. But from few days there is not possible too. Have you news about this? @AdamGT @ErmesT @Giu_DiB @FaridTDF @PaulPavlinovich @Sorbe @TravellerG @MoniDi

Hello @plavarda

Use of HTML is possible on a desktop only. (But, not even in the desktop mode on the phone).

Here is a screenshot.

Hallo @C_T aare you sure? In this form It don’t accept. It’s desappear the tag HTML in bar near icons Photo e videocamera. If You try to pubblish in your way the software don’t accept. Try and reply, thanks a lot!

What browser are you using?

I am using Chrome but I can test with other browsers, if necessary.

Please try to clear cache and cookies and try again

@C_T to be sure not to say wrong things, I published a post as you say try html but it doesn’t work HTML icon in the bar has been removed.

@ErmesT @C_T I’m using Chrome, but now that you tell me so, I turn off the computer and try to do the cleaning you say. Until the day before yesterday everything was perfect!

Hi @plavarda

I’m on my desktop. Using chrome, at the HTML button is visible. So I think is likely to be a problem on your end.

Please, try Clear cache & cookies, as suggested by others, if you have not already done so. The link has step-by-step instructions for Android, IOS, and Desktop. Just select the relevant tab at the top.

I can confirm that the HTML option works for me in Chrome on my desktop.

Come consigliato ho cancellato da Chrome dati di navigazione e cookies e anche su Safari. Ora ho questa situazione:

Ubuntu Firefox funziona

Mac Safari funziona

Mac Chrome non funziona.

Devo trovare cosa fare, ho cancellare tutti i dati di Google.

@MortenCopenhagen thanks for help, in this moment I’ll found the solution also for Chrome!! It needs a flag more on dates registered for sites.

@plavarda I can confirm that it works for me in Chrome and Edge. It also works on mobile (Android 11, Chrome).

Before clearing any more data, I would in Chrome check what extensions and add-ons are running and disable them all to see what effect that has.

I am glad to see you resolved the issue. Can I ask you to share here with us the procedure you followed? Hopefully with a screenshot, that would be great. This way it can be useful for other members having the same issue and we can mark it as a solution, as @MortenCopenhagen suggested. :slightly_smiling_face:

@Giu_DiB @MortenCopenhagen I followed this procedure:

  • Chrome browser

  • 3 dots high right

  • other instruments

  • erase navigation data

first pages

  • press advanced

  • activated all flags except password

  • press delete ( if you want execute this form only in local system and not google in general, press EXIT on left bottom)

second page

I hope english browser it’s similar as the italian
