On Google maps I love sharing reviews about small businesses, because what is small today can be huge tomorrow and I enjoy giving them a helping hand.
Many of these enterprises are family run and to grow means long hours of hard work and taking risks to earn the rewards that come later
They are usually owned by local people who have a passion for their product or service and are happy to share that with you, so dealing with them can be a rewarding experience. They are happy to to discuss a recipe, a painting or how a product is made. They reflect the real local environment, where the visitor will receive a memorable experience of the area they are visiting.
I want to help them reach a wider audience and help them grow, to share what they are offering. So weather it’s a pizza bar in Italy, a Cheese shop in Holland or a shop selling fans in Spain I want the world to know, so I share them on Google maps
I try to give a more detailed review…How easy to it to find? Where to park a car? What else is nearby? What dish to try, what days to best visit… more than just a six word review, many of my reviews earn 21 points
