From Navigation to Smart Guidance: An Urban Vision for Integrating AI into Location Profiles"

As an urban designer and researcher, I believe Google Maps has the potential to evolve far beyond navigation into an active, intelligent spatial guide.

I propose adding a dedicated conversational AI assistant bar directly at the bottom of city and location overview cards (similar to the standard info page). This mini-AI agent would allow users to ask contextual questions instantly—such as local traffic laws, winter driving conditions, climate specifics, and regional investment or tourism insights—without having to leave the page or dig through external articles.

Integrating a live, responsive AI layer into location profiles would dramatically elevate the user experience, transforming static maps into dynamic, real-time urban companions for travelers and researchers alike."

Terima kasih banyak, Aamiin ya Rab. Barakallahu fiki ukhti, jazakillahu khairan! Thank you so much for your kind words and support on the spatial intelligence vision. Wishing you continuous success and blessings always

Baik sama-sama @DJALAL_B16 , saya juga ingin mengucapkan rasa terima kasih yang sama dengan Anda. Semoga ke depan kita dapat saling memotivasi dan mendoakan . :palms_up_together:t3:

Of course, with the tremendous input of Local Guides, Maps has already evolved far beyond straight-out navigation—helping users decide where to dine, what to eat, and where to go. That said, I can see that your idea, @DJALAL_B16, extends far beyond existing features and has a lot of merit. Having a contextual, conversational AI assistant embedded right into location cards could really transform how people explore spaces.
