From Don't Know Untill Knowing Well

At first, I don’t know what the Local Guides Project is. When bought a new mobile phone with more sophisticated features, many notifications appear about the Local Guide Project. I was asked how about the place you just visited, give a rating, give a review, upload photos, and others.

At first it was so annoying, what the heck is complicated. but it is still being done because in the beginning it was stimulated by the increase in levels in the Local Guide Project. So there it is, as time goes by it continues to provide reviews in the Local Guide, without realizing what the benefits are, even the level also continues to rise.

Until one day, I had to plan a trip to Jogja with the team in the photo. I had never planned a vacation before, but this time, I couldn’t help but have to plan it. Even though I live in Semarang where it takes 4-5 hours to go to Jogja, it is not possible to survey Jogja. Because of this condition, I used Google Maps and Local Guide to survey online.

I am looking for places to stay, tourist attractions, places to eat, even looking for prices through the Local Guide. And that was very helpful.

In my heart I think that this Local Guide is a very extraordinary program, helping people who don’t even know an area to find what they need. Then I was determined that while in Jogja I would give reviews for all the places I visited so that other people would also be helped.

Finally I got a hotel, a place to eat, tourist attractions and also an estimated cost only through Google Map and Local Guide. After everything I prepared well, I and the team left for Jogja. I started reviewing all the places I visited. My team and I stayed at a hotel called Hotel Borobudur, which was not too crowded at that time. I photographed parts of the hotel and gave a review of the hotel and then uploaded it on the Local Guide. To my surprise, my reviews and photos were read and watched by thousands of people. now the hotel is quite crowded.

So this Local Guide also helps local entrepreneurs to develop their business. And I’m grateful to know the Local Guide that has helped me, helped people too and also helped local businesses to move forward. bravo for the Local Guide Project.
