From Cuzco to Machu Picchu

Hi Everybody,

I made a roadtrip from Cuzco to Machu Picchu, and It was such amazing than beautiful

I suggest to take the road (be careful while the rain season, it’s very dangerous) by bus because you can watch the wonderful landscape while 4h driving on the road. I made the one way Cuzco to Hidroelectrica for 25 pesos (but it cost maximum 30 pesos by bus). Then from Hidroelectrica I walked 2 hours in the mountain following the railway of Perurail line to go to Aguas Calientes. The walk is very beautiful, and not dangerous at all. You have many check point for drinks and foods and restrooms.

I spent a night in a charming hostel called Machu Picchu Packers, and I ate in a restaurat called Ylla in the plaza del armes in the center of Agua Callientes. The food cost the average of 30-40 pesos for a dish and there is happy hour for drinks all the times. Then the day after I went to Machu Picchu by walk. It’s quite hard to clim the stairs but the view is extraordinary. Take your time to clim, enjoy the walk of (2-3h). then you will arrive to your destination.

You can check o-all of my photos and videos on my instagram @RapheHECTPNGB. I saved it all on the stories’ album called ARtwork&Travel 1, 2 and 3 ( Machu Picchu is in the 2 and 3)
