From Cornwall to Dallas...

British expat, Nick, moved to the Dallas area after living 15 years in Cornwall with his American wife. What better way to make your mark in Dallas? Bring authentic fish and chips to us! And boy is this Dallasite grateful!

I came to Fish and Fizz the first time with my book club. I fell in love and new I had to bring my family back. Not only is the fish sheer perfection, but the place is absolutely adorable.

From the beach side feel (a welcome feeling in a landlocked area) to the simple but well-done menu, to the classic black cab parked out front and games on the patio—this a place worth visiting over and over. Just look at the cute little hut style booths along the wall. Such a fun way to dine with your kids.

I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to the owner on my second visit when I brought back my family. He was just the nicest guy. So charming with his accent. Ready to meet and greet any guest even though you could see he was hands-on in the kitchen.

If Nick’s story with its worldly influence isn’t worth the spotlight of a local story, idk what is!
